Psycho-educational groups
Psycho-educational groups provided to individuals in order to teach individual coping skills, to identify triggers for maladaptive or destructive behavior, to identify emotions, to communicate with each other effectively, and to observe certain societal expectations while interacting with other group members. Activities, worksheets, journal assignments, and discussion are examples of experientials that can be used during the psycho-educational sessions.
