Our Plan
Turning Point Adolescent Center provides individuals in Durham with Community Support Services as well as Day Treatment Services.
TPAC Community Support Services are offered to children, adolescents, and adults utilizing a system of care approach. At Turning Point Adolescent Center, our CSS providers collaborate with public agencies, families, and other county and private resources to ensure the success of our consumers in all areas of life domains.
Turning Point Adolescent Center's Day Treatment program operates on a Cognitive Behavioral framework in order to teach consumers about the relationship between thoughts, emotion, and behaviors. Our facility contains a computer center, learning center, recreational area, and art studio where individuals engage in activities and interventions that foster skill building. Art therapy, community interactions, and vocational preparedness are offered to Turning Point's consumers as well.
