Recreation ActivitiesTurning Point Adolescent Center is dedicated to using every opportunity to teach consumers to use coping skills, to interact with others appropriately, and to build self esteem and self worth. Engaging in games and recreation teaches individuals the importance of becoming part of a team and working together to reach a common goal. Consumers have the opportunity to practice coping skills and increase their tolerance for frustration. Recreational activities may include but are not limited to team building activities, chess, board games, and sports.
