Vocational PreparednessThis is a functional therapeutic program designed to assist consumers with developing strong leadership skills while improving their self-image and employability potential. The program strives to build character by assisting with the development of good decision making skills and reinforcing ethical principles and values. Groups will address areas such as how personal appearance, non-verbal cues, and self-image play a role when seeking employment opportunities as well as how to fill out job applications. Each individual’s plan identifies specific milestones to be reached on the way to meeting the consumer’s life goals.
